Snowy Acetate

Snowman from Woodware and papers from K & Co. I stamped the snowman using Stazon on acetate and also direct to the card. I painted the acetate with H20s and liked the different effect it produced. The star brads are from Papermania.

Winter Folds

The folded embellishment is made from K & Co papers. Snowflake brad is from Lakeland and the square brads from Papermania. Winter Wonderland stamp as before.

Cheery Snowman

Another snowman stamp from Woodware. He is coloured in using H20s and decoupaged. The tiny gem is from Papermania.

Snowman

The snowman is an acrylic stamp from Woodware (link below). He is coloured in using H20s. I stamped the background card and then cut out the snowman without his arms and present. The present is decoupaged. The Winter Wonderland stamp is from Delta and has been a favourite of mine this year. The snowflakes are from Cuttlebug.

Brolly Snowman

The snowman stamp is an old one and I think it is by Hero Arts (may be wrong!) Ribbon is from Papermania as are the gorgeous gem. The lettering is from my Cuttlebug.

Fairy Pink

The fairy stamp is from Woodware and is coloured in using Twinkling H20s. The papers are once again by K & Co and the ribbon from Papermania.

Pink Christmas

Tree stamp is by Hero Arts stamped onto K & Co Christmas papers. The snowflake mat is made using my lovely Cuttlebug and highlighted with a pink ink pad. The gems scattered on the tree are by Papermania.

40th Birthday

Made this card for a colleague who turned 40 earlier this month. I used a Penny Black stamp and coloured it with Blending Blox ink pads. The background paper is from the Pocket Full of Poses range.

Happy Travels

Made these cards for a friend whose nephew is off on his travels. I cut up an atlas (!) and used some of my stash that I've been keeping for about 4 years!

80th Birthday

A work colleague asked me to make a card for her Mum's 80th birthday. I used Brenda Pinnick chipboard for the numbers and Cuttlebug's Olivia for mum. The background papes are by HOTP.

Alcohol Inks/Chipboard

The flower has been dabbed with colour (using a baby wipe) from Distress Ink pads. I tapped parts of it with the Essential Glue Pad and then dipped it into a tub of Gold leaf. The flower is chipboard bought from Poundland. My husband hates pound shops, but even he will agree it turned out ok! The corrugated mat at the back is also a pound shop purchase - can't remember how much it cost though:)

Heart Flowers

I cut hearts from white card with a Quickutz die and applied Distress Inks with a babywipe. Next I dabbed round the edges with a different coloured pad. Finally I spritzed them with water, waited for them to dry and mounted them on 3d foam. I caught the pointed ends of the hearts underneath a button brad before adding a ribbon.

Dabbers

I bought the Adirondack Dabbers a while ago but only just began to use them this week. This effect is quite subtle but textured.

Distress Inks

Made this card with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads. I inked up the stamp and spritzed the stamp with water before stamping on the card. I tapped the ink pad around the edges and spritzed again. I left it to dry before adding a ribbon. I quite like the smudged effect that it left. Not everyone's cup of tea I know, but I am pleased with it.

My Latest Stamp

The stamp is from a range of stamps by Inkadinkado. It's my first purchase from the set, but won't be my last! I stamped the image with StazOn black. The image is coloured using Blending Blox (the pinks) and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad (broken china). I mounted it using Quickutz photo corners and used a couple of new papers I have as backgrounds.

Distress Inks

I made this background with Distress Inks. I covered a sheet of acetate with ink from different coloured ink pads, spritzed it with water and placed white card face down. Next I placed another sheet of acetate over the top and squidged the sheets together. The resulting patterns were a little pale so I pressed an ink pad over the top and spritzed it again with water. I think the whole effect looks pretty good. The butterfly image is made using the new Tsukineko Glue Pad covered with metal flakes.

Fathers Day

I made this card using my lovely Cricut machine and rubber stamps from Stamps Away. The 'dad' wording is cut from cardstock purchased in the US about 6 years ago! It has a basketball texture which is very touchy feely!

Fathers Day Darts

Made this card for Father's Day today. Ben isn't happy with the score I used as he usually beats his dad at darts! The stamps used are by Stamps Away.

Time ATCs

These are 2 Time ATCs made for a recent swap. The TIME letters were cut on my new Cricut machine using the George cartridge. The stamped images are all by Hero Arts except the lady who is by Personal Impressions and the small watch which is by See-D's. The brown watch is stamped into funfoam and highlighted with a metallic rub-on. The background of the blue ATC is made by scrunching tissue paper and then rubbing over it with a Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad.

Floral Trio

I made this card using flowers purchased from a local bargain shop. Although very simple, I think it looks great.

Son's Birthday Cards

These cards were made for my son's 19th birthday recently. He is an FC Barcelona fan and also is permanently attached to his i-pod.

Cuttlebug

I am the proud owner of a new Cuttlebug machine. It is so easy to use. It can be used to cut dies or to emboss. This card is very simple, but sometimes I prefer that!

Baby blue

I have had this Hero Arts stamp for years and rarely used it. I stamped the image with black ink and then stamped it again on blue Bazzill Cardstock, cut it out and attached it with a foam pad.

April Tags

These are the tags I have made for the monthly tag swap I am in through an internet group. I struggled this month to think of a topic, but decided as April is the first time I have ventured into the garden since last Summer, and as I stumbled across the gardener stamp that I have hardly ever used, I thought this was the ideal subject! The tiny flower stamps are by Hero Arts and the gardener is, I think, by Fun Stamps.

Purple Blooms

Yet another card made with the same paper from the 'bargain bin' mentioned earlier. The corrugated card is from the local Pound Shop - a great find by my mum who has always had the ability to search our bargains! The rub-on is from a Spring set purchased from The Works for just 99p. The only item I paid full price for in this card is the Papermania gems. Now I just need someone to buy it and I'll be on my way to making my first million lol.

Jigsaw Flowers

I made quite a few cards today using the jigsaw pieces and this is my favourite. It hasn't photographed as well as it could have - the great colours just don't seem to show up here. Oh well, I still like it!

Lilac

Here's another card made with the 'bargain bin' papers I mentioned before. I have used jigsaw pieces from Lakeland (as previous) and coloured them with a Brilliance Dew Drop ink pad. The flower at the bottom is one of the Prima Flowers which are widely available.

Black & White

I made this card with some papers I bought from The Range in Bolton. I have used jigsaw pieces from Lakeland - reduced to half price. I used 'direct to paper' with Staz On in black then stamped an image on top with the same pad. The flower at the bottom is punched using an X-Cut punch with a Papermania 'gem' to finish off.

Men ATC

These are 2 ATCs I have made for a swap I am in entitled 'Men ATC'! The backgrounds are made using Tim Holtz alcohol inks. The stamps are by Hero Arts. The embellishments are also by Tim Holtz.

Lady in Pink

I just love this rubber stamp. I have in excess of 100 stamps but I keep going back to this one! The papers, I think, are by DCWV. They were in a bargain bucket recently at 10 sheets for £1!

Altered Pad

This is a notebook I altered with some Rob and Bob papers. The pad is from Asda and cost just 25p. I am quite pleased with the result!

Easter

A friend got me a pack of papers from a bargain bucket recently. The papers here are from the pack. They are all really bright papers and I love them!

Diva ATCs

I recently bought myself a Tim Holt alphabet. The ATC on the left is the first time I used it. Although it's quite large, I like the effect.

Acetate

I made this for a recent swap entitled 'Acetate'. I enjoyed using the stamped images and the old poster. The dress in the background is entitled 'My mother's dress' and is a stamp I turn to often.
