Sugar Nellie Challenge 34

Here's my entry for Sugar Nellie Challenge 34. I used various papers including Core'dinations. Text is Cuttlebug's Olivia. The image is a lovely stamp, Pet's Corner from Sugar Nellie.

Handbag Card

Made this card at a colleague's request. Used K & Co pad. Simple!

60th Birthday

I made this card for the husband of a friend who is 60 this week. The stamp is from Crafty Individuals and inked with Tim Holtz' distress ink pad. The 60 and embossing are made with Cuttlebug.

Sugar

Yet another stamp from Sugar Nellie. This stamp is my current favourite. She is coloured with ProMarkers. Background papers were bargain finds at just 10p a sheet. Card Candy 'dots' are Craftwork Cards. Lace border is a Martha Stewart punch.

My Mind's Eye

This card is made from patterned My Mind's Eye papers and plain (embossed with Cuttlebug) Core'dinations. The pad of papers was a free gift in a craft magazine recently. I think these are my new favourite papers.

Gorjuss Blue

A blue Gorjuss Girl. Papers are a mix of DCWV and stash. Gorjuss Girl from Funky Kits and designed by Suzanne Woolcott.

Gorjuss Purple

Yet another Gorjuss Girl (links in previous post). Background papers are a mix of Brenda Pinnick and Core'dinations. Message is Hero Arts. Gorjuss Girl coloured with ProMarkers.

Gorjuss Orange

Background papers are from My Mind's Eye, layered with Core'dinations. The ticket is the fab Tim Holtz new die, stamped with a Hero Art's message. The image is from Funky Kits and is a Gorjuss Girl designed by Suzanne Woolcott.

Elzybells 16

Made this card for a colleague's son. The 16 is cut with George & Basic Shapes cart for Cricut. The stamp (coloured with ProMarkers) is from Elzybells.

Sugar in Distress

Thought I'd have a change and do some 'Sugar' distressing. I used a Gorjuss Girl girl and coloured her with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad. The background is created by 'wiping' the ink pads on a heatproof mat, spritzing with water and then 'smudging' the paper through it and heating to set it. The heart/swirl background stamp is from Hero Arts. Stamp from Funky Kits.

Face

Here's the same stamp as used in the previous post, but a totally different look.

Distressed Face

Had a play this week with Tim Holtz products. Background heart/swirl stamp is a bargain find from Hero Arts. The other 2 stamps are from my bargain, bargain purchase from Topaz Crafts (see previous post). I added a rose and a cracked flower (cut from Grungeboard/Cuttlebug).

Sweet Sixteen

Made this card for my son's friend's birthday. The letters are from Brenda Pinnick (coloured with ProMarkers). The image is an Elzybells. I coloured the footballer as a referee as my son's friend is one! My son is currently swimming in the sun in Spain. Lucky him!

Bargains

Here is a picture of the bargains I got at Topaz Crafts last week. A rough estimate is £130 worth of stuff for.....£10. The brads etc are from HOTP and, I think, were part of a Christmas TSV a while ago. I only wanted these bits so didn't buy the kit. Happy me!

Penny Black Bargain

I visited Topaz Crafts on Good Friday. They had a sale (more a give-away!). I got this stamp, and many others, for just £10. I will post a picture of my haul when I edit it. I've looked at this stamp so many times and almost paid full price. Glad I waited. Coloured with ProMarkers, added Stickles glitter and background papers are K & Co.
