Snowgirl

I love this snowgirl. Every year I have to buy a new snowman stamp and this is by far my favourite. It's from Spiral Whisper.

Spiral Whisper Snowgirl

Snowgirl stamp is from Spiral Whisper (link below). The background papers are the gorgeous Basic Grey. Snowflake is Cuttlebug. I used Distress Ink pads and a waterbrush for colouring the snowgirl.

Elzybells Girl 2

The stamp is as used in the previous post. Background papers are from Topaz Crafts (sorry I've used the bit with the name on!). Cuttlebug folder used is the christmas bauble one.

Elzybells' Girl

This stamps are from Elzybells. The background circles are made with Cuttlebug folders and ink pads rubbed over the top. The snowflakes are also Cuttlebug.

Oh dear!

This dog stamp is from Elzybells. The background papers are by Dovecraft. Flower from Prima, brads by Papermania. The torn newspaper is decoupaged and then highlighted with Glossy Accents.

Snowman

This cute snowman stamp is from Spiral Whisper. The background is a Cuttlebug folder highlighted with various ink pads. Snowflakes are also by Cuttlebug.

Cute Mouse 2

The gorgeous mouse stamp is from Elzybells (link in previous post). The mouse prints are also from Elzybells. Papers are gorgeous, but have no make on them! Brads are by Dovecraft. The stamp is coloured in with Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad and a water brush.

Mouse Christmas

This cute mouse is from Elzybells. Not sure what make the paper is, sorry. Made the flower from an X-cut punch.

Superman!

This is another card I made for my son's 16th birthday. The numbers are Cuttlebug's Olivia.

Here's one of the cards I made for my 16 year old son's birthday recently. The numbers were cut using Cricut's George Cart and the footballer is from an image downloaded from the Curly Girl Me blog.

Eighteen

This card is for my nephew who turns 18 on 30th September. The footballer is a download from the blog Curly Girl Me. The letters are cut with Cricut's Zooballoo cartridge.

Counting Sheep ATC

Here is another ATC for the number swap. Sheet stamp is Anita's. Background is the fab Cuttlebug numbers. I inked the embossing folder prior to embossing - this leaves the background inked and the embossed bits the original card colour. Pad used is Distress Ink.

ATC - Numbers

This is an ATC made for a 'Numbers' ATC swap I am part of. The numbers and movie star stamps are by Paper Artsy. Inks from the fab Tim Holtz.

Long time no update! Teddy is from Elzybells. Flowers by Prima. Paisley embossing folder - Cuttlebug. Background papers are by Rob and Bob (I think).

Christening

First update for what seems like ages. I made this card at the request of a friend. The image is by Penny Black. Backgrounds with my Cuttlebug, letters with my Quickutz and the flowers are Jollie's. I coloured the image in with a waterbrush and various inkpads.

No! Not Christmas already...

I didn't intend to make Christmas cards so early, but I couldn't resist this stamp on a recent visit to Topaz. The stamp is from Funstamps and is designed by Lindsay Mason. I stamped the image in Stazon and 'coloured' it with Glossy Accents. The message, I think, is from Kanban.

Do Crafts Website

I have an award

B&W Eiffel

Eiffel Tower stamp from Putting on the Ritz. Flowers cut with various punches, stamped and dry embossed. The text background stamp is, I think, from Hero Arts - I used the masking technique for it. Ribbon from a box of Hotel Chocolat!

Elzy Footballer

The image is from Elzybells. Coloured him in using Distress Ink Pads (link in an earlier post below). Background stripy paper (and shorts) are from Papermania, not sure where the spotty paper is from though.

Maggie's Back

I just can't help myself going back to these gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamps. The card was made for a challenge over on Do Crafts.

New York New York

The New York picture is by Tim Holtz, as is the postcard snippet. The background paper is from HOTP. Stamped image by Putting on the Ritz. I inked the background to the car with Distress Ink and then embossed the image on top of it about 3 times. Because some of the powder stuck to other parts of the car it has given a dotty effect which I quite like. Overall I am really pleased with this card - I like its vintage look.

Jigsaw Embossing

The car image is from Putting on the Ritz. I have triple embossed the jigsaw pieces and stamped them with bits of the car image.

Elzybells Footi

I love this image - it's so crisp. The stamp is from Elzybells. Not many additions to this card, but sometimes I like the 'less is more' theme.

This seagul stamp was part of a set from Paper Artsy - reduced to £3.50 from around £9. I like a bargain. Papers by HOTP.

Made a Playstation controller card for my friend's son a while ago. His cousin loved it, so for her recent birthday I made he a pink one. Alphabet is Cuttlebug.

Just discovered I have an award!

10 Years ago: I was in my 30s (oh...those were the days). I had just begun working in my current job at a primary school and thoroughly enjoying every second of it.

5 things to do today: 1. Go to mum's for dinner. 2. Go to M&S and buy their £10 meal deal for a lazy tea. 3. Watch some of craft day (especially the bits with Leonie). 4. Look for a cheap holiday. 5. Hang out the washing!

Places I have lived: Oh dear, do holidays count? lol I have lived here in lovely Lancashire all of my life.

What I would do if I was a millionaire: Design and have my own house built in the countryside somewhere. Buy a holiday home in America and split my time between the two. I'd also travel the length and breadth of the USA for the first year of my new hound wealth.

21st Card

21st card for my niece Catherine. She got a personalised number plate for her birthday and this is a funky copy!

Wedding Day

Very simple card made using different Cuttlebug embossing folders. Just added ribbon, gems and a greeting.

My niece is 21. How can that be, surely she was only born the other day! Papers by DCWV, background Cuttlebug, flower Prima.

Cuttlebug Flower

This is a very simple card made with the Cuttlebug petals die and emboss kit. I think it's quite effective!

Elzybells

Rubber Stamp image by the fabulous Elzybells. Petals are Cuttlebug. Papers y DCWV. I have bought quite a few Elzybells stamps recently but have only just got round to using them. A long 6-week holiday awaits me, starting tomorrow. Bliss....

Spritzed Image

Haven't updated for ages. The stamped image is from Stampendous, inked with Distress Pad then spritzed with water and left to 'smudge'.

Another Travel ATC

Second travel ATC in 2 days! Background car is by Stamps Away and the Penny Farthing is by Rubber Stampede. The tiny swirl stamp is from a set of clear stamps by Studio g and cost 99p from The Range! Papers, as always, by HOTP.

This is my first ATC for what seems like months. I used stamps by Hero Arts (postage stamps) Tanda Stamps (Niagra Falls) and Stamping on the Ritz (car). The background is made with Cuttlebug embossing folders. The ink is from Tim Holtz.

Penny Black

I have liked this stamp for ages and treated myself to it last week. The papers are from HOTP.

Card for my younger son's friend. Backgrounds are made using the Cuttlebug. The numbers embossing folder was inked prior to running it through the machine. I think it gives a great effect - coloured background and white embossed detail.
