It's been half term this week and I have struggled to come up with ideas for Christmas cards that I so desperately need to get making! This is the first I made that I am quite pleased with.

Travels

Glue Stick Embossing

My new favourite technique - embossing with a glue stick. Instead of using an ink pad to emboss on - use a glue stick. It gives a great textured effect.

ATCs

My first update for quite a while!

I have recently discovered ATCs (Artist Trading Cards). ATCs are small cards (2.5" x 3.5") that are traded between crafters. I am part of ATC swaps on Shopping Telly and Do Crafts at the moment. My mum loves handbags and this is a card I made for Mother's Day recently.

Pot of Flowers

This was a card experiment that turned out quite well. It is made with Quickutz flower dies and strips of green card for grass/leaves.

March 2006

I've eventually got round to posting more cards that were made during February/March. My own personal favourite is the First Birthday box card.
