Bargain Stamp

I have had my eye on this stamp for over 12 months now and a couple of weekends ago it was 40% off at Topaz Crafts. I stamped it on plain white card with Tsukineko's Versafine. I added a Quickutz globe.

Snow!

This afternoon we were greeted with a sudden snow storm! Our garden was covered in 10 cm of snow that fell in no more than 2 hours! Took this picture cos it looked so pretty, but sadly it hasn't photographed well.

Then and Now

I am taking part in an ATC swap - me, then and now! Don't think I need to explain which is which! Background on 'now' is Core-dinations Black Magic embossed with the Cuttlebug and sanded. Flower is Cuttlebug too. The background stamp of 'then' is a stamp I have had my eye on for months now. Last week is was reduced by 40% over at Topaz Crafts so I snapped it up! It's from Personal Impressions and is by Beryl Peters. Although it doesn't actually say on the stamp, I think it is The Shambles in York. Not sure of my age on the top picture, possibly about 6 years.

Happy 60th Birthday

This card was made for my mum's friend who turned 60 last weekend. The papers are from HOTP. Hamish is from Sugar Nellie. Ribbon - Anita's, Brads - Papermania, 60 - Cuttlebug, Scalloped circle - Nestibilities.

Mum's Birthday Cards

This card is for my Mum's birthday. I love the cakes and icecream background. The image is of the lovely Hamish from Sugar Nellie.

This card is for my Mum from my children. I can't take the credit for the design of it as it is featured in this month's Do Crafts Creativity magazine. 'Icing' is made with the help of a Nestibilities die embossed with the Cuttlebug swirly folder.

Sugar Nellie

Made this card with the lovely Hamish for a friend who got engaged on Christmas day in Lapland. Background papers from HOTP, brads Papermania, Flowers Prima.

Here is my attempt at the first challenge on the SugarBowlBlog. I used the gorgeous Hamish from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits. The background papers are mostly HOTP and Core-dinations. Hamish is coloured with Distress Ink from Tim Holtz at Ranger. Why not give the challenge a go?

The dog image is from Elzybells Stamps. The happy birthday is part of a 99p set by Studio g. Background paper is Core-dinations embossed with the Cuttlebug and 'distressed' with a nail file. I highlighted the torn paper part of the stamp with Glossy Accents from Ranger.

NYE 2008

Last night we went to a NYE party at a friend's house. The theme was film. This is a picture for my mum. L-R Dom, Cat, Robyn, Ben. My 2 sons and my 2 nieces.
