It was gardening day today! While the grass was being cut I got a sudden urge to pick the Buttercups before they were devoured by the mower. They are sitting on the fireplace now, a great reminder of my childhood!

Oh I love buttercups. A real blast from the past do you remember putting the buttercup under the chin to see if you liked butter or not lol.
I like butter!! They really are, like daisies, a sweet and beautiful flower, huh!
They look lovely. If you'd picked them all though I wouldn't have had to cut the grass.

So funny that you should have that as a posting since I just got a handfull from my lawn to bring inside before my geese eat them all! Buttercups are so simple but beautiful!
