Here's my challenge entry for the December card over on The Sugar Bowl. The stamp is a Gorjuss Girl from Funky Kits.

Gorjuss Sugar

Here's another version of my new favourite stamp. The stamp is from Funky Kits. Took delivery of a new Magnolia stamp today. Going to play tomorrow :)

Simple Tree

Here's a simple tree made with dotty things from Craftwork Cards - attached to the card with a small foam square. The snowflake and 'tub' are cut from Kars paper.

Snowman

Couldn't find a new snowman that I liked this year, so reverted to an old favourite. This snowman is a clear stamp from Woodware. I cut most of the front of the card off and added a piece of ripped paper then covered the 'inside' of the card. The snowman is coloured with ProMarkers.

WOYWW

Here's the picture for WOYWW. First time I've been brave enough to join in!

Magnolia in the Pink

I'm dreaming of a pink Christmas! The image is from Magnolia and she is coloured with ProMarkers. I added a touch of Stickles glitter to make her all sparkly!

Here's the lovely Gorjuss Girl stamp again. Background papers are a mix of DCWV and Coredinations. The stamp is paper-pieced and coloured with ProMarkers.

Elzybells Reindeer

Love this adorable reindeer and robin. They are coloured with ProMarkers and I added some Stickles glitter glue. I stamped the image twice and 'decoupaged' the circle. The link for Elzybells is in my previous post.

I adore this stamp. (I think I've mentioned that before!) The stamp is from Elzybells. She is coloured with ProMarkers and has Stickles glitter added.

I adore this cute Gorjuss Girl. I made her Christmassy by paper-piecing Basic Grey Christmas papers. Background papers are from my stash. I added Stickles glitter to her wings to complete the wintery look! Gorjuss Girls are available from www.funkykits.co.uk

Made this card for someone who had a nasty accident recently. The stamp is from Funstamps and is coloured with various ProMarkers. Background paper is from DCWV. Sentiment stamp is from HOTP.

Made this card for a friend's birthday. The image is from Do Crafts' Claire Curd. The papers used are DCWV and Core'dinations. The embossing was done with the help of my Cuttlebug.

Handbag 18

The is a handbag made at the request of a colleague. Not my usual kind of card as it is made from a pre-cut shaped bag from K & Co. It was pretty well receive though!

Award from Lindsay Mason

Just realised I have a blog award from Lindsay Mason. I feel so honoured. I love Lindsay's work and she was the inspiration behind my recent inky backgrounds.

Made this card with a Gorjuss Girl stamp from Sugar Nellie. I added the santa hat for a festive version. The hat stamp is from Hero Arts. Background papers are from my stash, including Basic Grey.

Here's the fab Elzybells girl again. I coloured her with ProMarkers and added some Stickles glitter. The background pink card has been run through the Cuttlebug. Patterned paper is from my stash.

Non Christmas

Ok, so I have no inspiration today for Christmas cards. I adore this background stamp from Persaonal Impressions' Beryl Peter's range. I had my eye on this stamp for months at Topaz Crafts and managed to get it in a 50% off sale earlier this year. The trolley bus stamp is from, I think, Fun Stamps, but I can't just find it! The bus is coloured with ProMarkers. Images are stamped with Impress Black ink.

Elzybells

I just love this Elzybells stamp. I used it for last year's Christmas cards - do you think people will remember that? This year I have used paper piecing for her clothes.

Inky Snowman

The background on this card is made the same way as yesterday's post. I sorted out my Christmas stamps today ready for a mammoth crafting week. I added santa's sleigh to the 'moon'. The snowman stamp is from Penny Black. Inks used are Distress Inks from Tim Holtz.

Spooky Inks

I copied this technique from Lindsay Mason. The background is created by building up Tim Holtz Distress Inks using a foam applicator. I left a part of the background uninked to give the illusion of the moon. The gorgeous stamp was a freebie from Craft Stamper a few months ago, designed by Sugar Nellie stamps. I drew the branch freehand! For a first attempt, I am quite pleased.

Handbag

This handbag is made using DCWV papers. The gorgeous crochet flowers are from a friend over on UK Scrappers. (There is a link to her site where you can purchase the flowers on a previous post).

Blackburn Rovers/Elzybells

Yeah, I know it's almost identical to a card I posted last week, but today my team beat our Premier League neighbours 3-2, so I'm allowed to post another Rovers card to celebrate!

Distress Inks Backgrounds

Here are 2 very similar cards made with Tim Holtz' Distress Ink Pads. The technique is widely known, but I have detailed it in a previous post. The stamp is by Penny Black - I bought it recently at Topaz Crafts at a bargain 40% off!

Elzybells Footballer

Ok, there seems to be a footbal theme going on here! The stamp is from Elzybells. The blue card is Core'dinations. Footballs is a stamp which has 3 different balls on - not sure what make it is, but it's really useful. The boy is coloured (once again) in the colours of my local team Blackburn Rovers.

Mercurial Vapors (Boots to me and you!)

Here's the card I made for my son's 17th birthday last week. The card is a copy of his latest football boots. The boots are doing a good job as he scored 3 goals today!

Elzybells ATC

Can't believe we are 6 months into our alphabet ATC swap. The image is from Elzybells. He is coloured in Blackburn Rovers colours with ProMarkers. I needed to add something extra to the ATC but wasn't sure what. I decided on red and yellow cards!

Thinking of You

Made this card for a colleague and friend who lost a relative this week. Doubt if these kind of cards are the favourite of anyones to make. The background is made with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads 'splodged'on a heat-proof mat and spritzed with water before pressing white cardstock into the 'mess'! I heated the ink between colour-adds. The stamp is, I think, from Stampendous. It's a stamp I find really useful and lends itself to many occasions, including this sad one.

This card is made with a Sugar Nellie stamp - Luca. Background papers are a mix of Crafty Individuals and spotty card from my stash. 60 and happy birthday embossings are made with the Cuttlebug.

Strange lights moving over Darwen

On Saturday 19th September around 8 pm these lights were seen in the sky over Darwen, Lancashire. They aren't blobs on the camera, they really were orange lights moving pretty fast from left to right. They weren't planes, they weren't hot air balloons...what were they? Any suggestions gratefully received.

I love the Penny Black hedgehog stamps. Treated myself to a new one yesterday at Topaz - 40% off! I like a bargain, especially a crafty bargain.

Yet another Gorjuss Girl. Background papers are Basic Grey. Gorjuss Girl Butterfly stamp is from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits. The crochet flowers are from a swap I did on UK Scrappers with a lady whose user name is Enfys. The flowers are just beautiful.
